Job Description

Interested in making IWAG induce more PCD to our attendees? Come on in! We are looking for people with an interest in event programming and experience design. You will be tasked to assist event programming, designing new attendee experiences, and take care of their wellbeing, making IWAG a convention of vastly engaging experiences to bring home as unforgettable memories.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist event programming to create attendee experience relevant to the theme.
  • Come up with thematically accurate elements and items alongside the Design Team to help immerse attendees on the year’s theme.
  • Work with the Programming team to come up with main events or sift through acceptance criteria for panels and activities.
  • Design event layouts with Logistics and Venue Relations Teams to accommodate the best experience for attendees.
  • Brainstorm, prepare, and execute new attendee experience initiatives. If things like gamification, puzzles, and ARG come to mind - this is your spot.
  • Coordinate with Events and Logistics Team to accommodate attendees needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Obsessed and passionate with planning and providing the best customer experience.
  • Experience in event management or experience design from any background, including corporate and commercial events and projects.
  • Willing to go creative and go the extra mile to ensure everyone has a great time!
  • Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English (CEFR B2 minimum).
  • Experience in event gamification is a plus.
  • Speaking other foreign and traditional languages is a plus.

General PII that we require from all Staff members will be collected through this form are:

  • Your Legal Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Your Age
  • Your Phone Number
  • Your Social Media Identifiers

Specific PII that will be processed through the Staff lifecycle are completely voluntary. Examples of information we may process are, but are not limited to:

  • Dietary Preferences, if necessary
  • Health information, concerns and risks, if necessary
  • Financial transaction receipts and statements, if needed for reimbursements related to con work
  • Residential Address, if required for shipping items or if part of the Logistics network, or for random martabak deliveries.

We will not retain a copy of your identification card (Passport, National ID, Drivers’ License), but we will need to see it to provide your badge during the event.

Upon successful offer as a Staff member, all Staff members are bound to a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement before granted access to information that is deemed required for the incumbent Staff member to perform their duties, and will become governed by the general IWAG Privacy Policy.
