VIPR Officer

Job Description

Have a knack in interpersonal relations? You might be the right person to become our VIPR Officer! You will be tasked to ensure our VIP’s needs and responsibilities are considerably taken care of.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Help Convention Leadership scout potential VIPs and segway into further discussions with Leadership.
  • Assist and attend to VIP needs before, during, and after the event.
  • While GOHs plan their own intercity transport arrangements, you may assist in evaluating options. You may also be responsible for arranging inner-city transport and shuttles.
  • Attend to convention VIPs as a Handler, ensuring all their in-convention needs are taken care of.
  • Coordinate with Events and Logistics Team to accommodate VIP needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English (CEFR B2 minimum).
  • Has a professional or event-related experience in hospitality, public relations, marketing, talent relations or institutional affairs.
  • Friendly, attentive, hospitable.
  • Willing to work on a professional basis with VIPs.
  • Highly trustworthy with demonstrated integrity to work on a professional basis with VIPs when required.
  • Holding a valid automobile driving license is desirable but not required.
  • Speaking other foreign and traditional languages is a plus!

Privacy

As Staff members will be official representations of the organization, information will be required to ensure accountability and transparency within the team.

This information can only be accessed by relevant Staff members who are bound to the IWAG Staff Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement and the general IWAG Privacy Policy.

General PII that we require from all Staff members will be collected through this form are:

  • Your Legal Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Your Age
  • Your Phone Number
  • Your Social Media Identifiers

Specific PII that will be processed through the Staff lifecycle are completely voluntary. Examples of information we may process are, but are not limited to:

  • Dietary Preferences, if necessary
  • Health information, concerns and risks, if necessary
  • Financial transaction receipts and statements, if needed for reimbursements related to con work
  • Residential Address, if required for shipping items or if part of the Logistics network, or for random martabak deliveries.

We will not retain a copy of your identification card (Passport, National ID, Drivers’ License), but we will need to see it to provide your badge during the event.

Upon successful offer as a Staff member, all Staff members are bound to a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement before granted access to information that is deemed required for the incumbent Staff member to perform their duties, and will become governed by the general IWAG Privacy Policy.
